Grammy's Here!

So far we have had an adventuresome week since Grammy has been here. The day she arrived it snowed and snowed. By the time she had landed, about 30 minutes late, it had snowed so much it took us about an hour to get home, which is only about 2 or 3 miles from the airport. So, needless to say, we hung out at home that evening. Luckily for us the snow melts pretty fast here, at least on the roads, so we were able to go to the mall the next day for a while and get out of the house. We were able to go to Frankenmuth and eat at a fabulous restaurant with delicious homecooked food (thanks for the recommendation Susie). For those who may want to visit there, the name of the restaurant is Zehnder's. We walked around the town for while, even though it was freezing outside, but the shops were so tempting we just couldn't resist. A very outspoken woman from Florida offered to knit Kenzie some mittens, if she knew how to knit that is. The only problem is Kenzie won't keep anything on her hands for longer than a second. Why on earth would you come here from Florida in February??? Yesterday we did house work and so forth while Grammy and Kenzie played and played. The weather today is FREEZING but not snowing so that is good. It has been mostly cloudy all day and that is nice because that means that sun comes out every once in a while and there is always a patch of blue sky. We are planning on going to Grand Rapids tomorrow to see the Frank Lloyd Wright house and a museum. Here are some pictures from the week. Kenzie emptied out Grammy's wallet and was kindly handing out all of her cash, she is so generous, especially with other people's money!
